Wine & Food Week returns to The Woodlands June 7-11

After a two-year pandemic pause, Wine & Gastronomy Week returns to the woods with a variety of culinary events crowned by the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase, one of the region’s premier food and wine restaurants on June 11.

More than 100 chefs and hundreds of wines will be showcased at events June 7-11, featuring creators of wine and culinary tastes from across the country and the Greater Houston restaurant community. The final event of the week, the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase on June 11, which will include a chefs competition for the title of Goya Foods’ Chef of Chefs Award which includes a cash prize of $5,000.

The event will also honor late Houston foodie personality Cleverley Stone, the founder of Houston Restaurant Weeks, who will be inducted into the Wine & Food Week Hall of Fame.

These paid eventsopen to the public, are part of Wine & Food Week:

Raisins & Games on June 7: A games evening for oenophile adults; $25 at Woodlands Country Club.
Wine Around the World on June 8: Tasting of international wines; $55 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.

Way of the Roses: A Sweet Evening on June 9: A night of rosé wines, sparkling wines and white wines; $65 at Peach Orchard in the spring.

For the love of Texas: All Things Texans Love on June 10: a tribute to Texan dishes paired with international wines and craft beers; $45 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.

Bayway Cadillac VIP Luxury Lounge on June 11: A separate ticketed event as part of the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase featuring premium wine selections; $175 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.

Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase of Wine Rendezvous on June 11: Hundreds of wine and food tastings from 35 restaurants and chefs; $125 at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.
