Ultimate travel experiences for James Bond lovers


The highly anticipated new James Bond film “No Time to Die” is almost here, and a boutique hotel Hotel & Spa Royal Champagne in the French countryside offers travelers the ultimate 007 experience with their new “Feel like james bond”Package in honor of the premiere.

Available from the film’s October 6 release datee, Royal Champagne offers guests the option of staying in their new 007 suite, offering panoramic views of the vineyards and a bottle of Bond’s favorite Bollinger Champagne awaits them upon arrival. Customers who book the package will venture into an exclusive tour of the Maison de Champagne Bollinger (only 10 minutes by car from the hotel) followed by a tasting; enjoy Bond’s signature Vesper Martini at the hotel bar; treat yourself to a Michelin-starred gastronomic experience at Le Royal restaurant; and relax with an exclusive candle-lit massage using ingredients from around the world in the hotel’s expansive spa in partnership with the cult brand Biological research.

Other property highlights include a dedicated champagne concierge, available to create spectacular champagne experiences; a helipad for travelers arriving by private helicopter to land directly on the property; and an in-room “Champagne Please” button on in-room phones for instant bubbles at your doorstep.

I conducted an exclusive interview for Forbes.com with the hotel’s director of sales and marketing, Jennifer Delord, who told me a lot more about the exclusive champagne experience.

Can you give me more details on the decoration of suite 007?

The suite is a junior suite – located on the first floor with great views – the bedroom faces a beautiful village called “The Birthplace of Champagne”. We will be offering a special welcome treat of chocolates – as well as Bollinger Champagne in a leather champagne case.

How many threads are there in the sheets on the bed?

We provide Italian beds with 300 thread count linens.

What are the toiletries?

Hermes.

What’s in a Vesper Martini?

Gin, vodka, white vermouth and a few ice cubes.

What are the extravagant experiences that the hotel can offer?

Something guests love – there’s a “Champagne Button” on the phone – and just press and a sommelier will come to your door – and they’ll offer a selection of champagnes by the glass. There is also a champagne concierge to help you get the most out of your experience. We have two beautiful swimming pools – one overlooks the vineyard and it is an infinity pool. And you can even dine at a chef’s table inside the kitchen.

What other types of James Bond things do you offer – besides the other films in your hotel?

You can screen James Bond in the privacy of your room. We offer a private tour of the Bollinger Vineyard – they offer a private tour and tasting of their cellars. This is not common, as the vineyard is not open to the public.

What are some of the attractions outside the hotel that guests may enjoy?

Going back to the history of the area, the caves were of great help to people who wanted to go into hiding during WWII. And the precious bottles were not taken by the Germans. There is a hot air balloon taking off right in front of the hotel. Or a cruise on a wooden boat at sunset. Fighter plane flights near the hotel – and horseback riding. You are right in the middle of the vineyard and many activities can be organized. You can even visit small winemakers.

Tell me about the presidential suite.

It is named after Napoleon’s wife, where the kings of France used to stop. It’s called the Josephine and it’s 1100 square feet and faces the local village.

How often do customers use the helipad?

Having a helipad is a big help for us – – customers come for Fashion Week in Paris, have lunch with us and return to Paris. The hotel has an intimate setting in a village of 500 inhabitants – it is a secret place where VIPs and celebrities love to come as they will be left alone. Today we have two helicopters arriving with guests.

That’s not all. If you really want to look like James Bond, you have to use a special type of luggage.

To celebrate the upcoming release of the film, the prestigious and luxurious Globetrotter The British brand is proud to announce the launch of the “No Time To Die” vulcanized fiberboard luggage collection. Inspired by the suitcases featured in the movie, the line consists of a new four-wheeled suitcase ($ 2,610) in a classic ocean green vulcanized fiberboard with black leather trim in a carry-on, a size of registration ($ 3,041) as well as a new case ($ 1,911). A classic black luggage tag embossed with the “No Time To Die” logo completes the range.

And for the icing on the cake 007 – how about an Aston Martin car the size of a James Bond pint for the half pints of your life?

The small car company, Aston Martin and EON Productions have launched a special edition “No Time To Die” Aston Martin DB5 Junior convertible. Inspired by the 25th James Bond film, Aston Martin has collaborated with The small car business to create a collector’s item loaded with gadgets for kids. The two-thirds version of the original comes with a fully electric powertrain with Silver Birch paint, Smiths instruments, chassis plates individually numbered and completed with the Aston Martin badge. After extensive development and months of collaboration between the three companies, the car is a true tribute to the Aston Martin and 007 brands.

The original Aston Martin DB5 has been 3D scanned for reference, allowing for a completely accurate reproduction. While some elements of the car have been reproduced, such as the Smiths instruments on the dashboard, some elements have been redesigned. The fuel gauge has been converted to a battery meter, while the oil temperature now monitors engine temperature. The special edition “No Time To Die” was designed as a convertible, not the fixed-head coupe piloted by 007. It is to offer seats for an adult and a child side by side, allowing all generations of Bond fans to share the love of driving. The price? $ 123,327.
