The hotel opened this summer on Chestnut Street in Center City. The 51-story skyscraper celebrates Philadelphia, from art to cocktails.
The hotel has 295 rooms including 39 suites with bay windows and city view.
On the 7th floor is the WET Deck, a year-round swimming pool with cabanas and its own restaurant.
You will also find the Secret Garden with lush green spaces and illuminated statues of Benjamin Franklin and Marie-Antoinette, a nod to their secret romance.
Also upstairs is the AWAY spa with a Detox menu, treatment rooms, salon and beauty bar in the colors of Marie-Antoinette by Sofia Coppola.
The ground floor features a large lobby with nods to the Philadelphia city gate and historic Fairmount Park gardens.
The lobby bar called Living Room serves a specialty menu and selected cocktails, including Kumo Sumo, Stripp’d and Ready, and the Italian Market Espresso Martini. Behind the living room bar’s one-way mirror hides Stevens’ Prophecy, a living room adorned with artwork celebrating Philadelphia and Hollywood royalty Grace Kelly. The speakeasy is a feature of the W.
