Book Fairmont Miramar Hotel & Bungalows
Set on five acres on the bluffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Santa Monica, the Fairmont Miramar celebrates its centennial in 2021. It was originally the private estate of Santa Monica founder Senator John P. Jones.
With lush surroundings and views in all directions, this property is ideal for travelers who want a beach getaway coupled with the delights of a city. We have been several times and find something new to love with each stay.
Here, beach butlers seat visitors on the beach and can organize cocktails or lunches, in addition to paddleboards, bodyboards, and bicycles. Or, guests can just splash around in the large swimming pool or take a stroll in the gardens.
The hotel offers 280 spacious rooms, some with views of the Pacific Ocean, and 31 individually designed bungalows. Expect great luxury with Keurig coffeemakers, a stocked mini-bar, and a generous-sized bathroom with marble, plush bathrobes, and Le Labo toiletries.
The destination restaurant FIG Restaurant offers ultra-seasonal and local farm-to-table fare and now also has an Airstream serving beach food from a refurbished 1986 classic trailer located adjacent to the club and lounge celebrity favorite, The Bungalow. And Georgina’s is a new beachfront bar, slated to open in September 2021.
