Serena Hotels and the Italian Embassy organize an opera for flood victims

ISLAMABAD-Serena Hotels organized a fundraising opera performance in collaboration with the Italian Embassy. Talented and world-renowned artist, Mr. Rame Lahaj, who was accompanied by Mr. Matteo Pais, gave outstanding performances and engaged the audience with his well-known pieces.

He has performed in prestigious opera houses around the world. Among his most notable roles are Alfredo (La Traviata), Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto) and Rodoldo (La Boheme). Rame Lahaj is the first artist from Kosovo and won the most prestigious and important award “Operalia” in 2016 for his extraordinary performances.

He was accompanied by Repetiteur, artistic coordinator of the Arturo Toscanini Foundation in Parma, vocal coach and emeritus pianist, well known for his international master classes for young artists in the making.

Mr. Aziz Boolani, CEO of Serena Hotels, appreciated the generous support of the Italian Ambassador to Pakistan, HE Andreas Ferrarese, for partnering with Serena Hotels not only to raise funds for flood relief, but also to strengthen the ties between Pakistan and Italy through such cultural exchanges. , and he explained how essential these cultural exchanges are in fostering great ties between the two nations.

This event is the 4th fundraising event organized by Serena Hotels in collaboration with different diplomatic missions and will continue to play the role of supporting less privileged citizens using its hotel platform.

It was an evening dedicated to establishing close cultural ties with the Italian Embassy, ​​while creating an opportunity to generate funds for relief efforts.
