The first Radisson Collection hotel on the Adriatic coast has opened in the Croatian town of Pula.

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the opening of Grand Hotel Brioni Pula, A Radisson Collection Hotel following the £30 million repositioning of the former Hotel Brioni. Radisson has undertaken this development in partnership with PPHE Hotel Group and its Croatian subsidiary Arena Hospitality Group.
The hotel is located in the town of Pula, which is home to the main international airport in Istria and welcomes many visitors every year at the start of their trip here. In this area known for its historic sites, nature and coastline, the hotel occupies a cliffside location with views of the Brijuni Islands.

A historic transformation
Taking over a property built in the 1970s once known as a celebrity getaway, Grand Hotel Brioni Pula, A Radisson Collection Hotel has been given a new lease of life with the interior design of Workshop 92 combining heritage of the site and modernity. Mediterranean colors and materials are combined with Italian and Croatian stone and works by renowned Croatian artists.
The hotel’s 227 rooms are joined by a number of restaurants and bars, wellness facilities, and infinity pools.
Guests can dine on local Mediterranean cuisine showcasing fresh, local ingredients at the Brioni Forum restaurant also offering international specialties, the Brioni Lungo Mare beach restaurant focusing on Mediterranean meat and seafood, and the fine dining restaurant at the beach. hotel, the restaurant Sofia.
