Pope Francis will travel with ITA Airways for his next papal flight on September 13 at 7:15 a.m. from Rome Fiumicino to Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport (Kazakistan).
The flight will be operated on an Airbus A330 with the new blue livery and for the second time the Holy Father will depart from Terminal 5 of the Leonardo da Vinci airport in Rome Fiumicino. Landing is scheduled for 5:45 p.m. local time.
Fabio Maria Lazzerini, CEO of ITA Airwaysand Emiliana Limosani, commercial director of ITA Airways, will welcome the Holy Father at Fiumicino airport.
A crew of 12 made up of 3 pilots and 9 stewards will accompany the Sovereign of the Vatican City State on his journey. Captain Massimiliano Marselli, with 18,000 hours of flight experience, will be the supervisor of onboard activities.
In addition, the papal delegation and representatives of the Italian and international press will travel with Pope Francis. In addition, the ITA Airways team dedicated to special flights will be on board.
