Danny Wilson names strong Warriors squad for Italy trip

DANNY WILSON has selected 11 players who had playing time for Scotland in the recent round of autumn testing in his starting XV – plus Jamie Dobie on the bench – for tomorrow afternoon’s return to the United Rugby Championship at Benetton.

Notable absentees are a stubborn accessory Pike perch fagerson and a half scrum Ali Price, who are rested after touring with the Lions last summer and starting the four fall tests, Scott Cummings, who is listed as injured, and co-captain Ryan wilson, who plays for the Barbarians against Samoa at Twickenham.

With Fraser Brown, the team’s other co-captain, out for the rest of the calendar year with a knee injury, center Sam johnson took the lead in the field for this game.
